These terms describe use of The Office of AJ Bass website, an independent project publishing political news, commentary, and opinion. They apply to this website; separate platforms and services have their own terms.
Using this website
Use the site lawfully and respect others’ rights. Do not attempt unauthorized access, disrupt services, impersonate others, submit malicious material, or use our forms to harass or threaten anyone. We may restrict access or remove material to address misuse, security concerns, or legal obligations.
Subscriptions and financial support
The Office of AJ Bass is not presented as a nonprofit or tax-exempt charity. Do not assume payments or support are tax-deductible charitable contributions. If you choose a paid subscription or other transaction on Substack or another provider, review that provider’s pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms before purchasing. These website terms do not create a separate refund or subscription promise.
Copyright and permitted use
Original content is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party material remains the property of its respective owners. You may link to our work and use material where permitted by law, including fair use; other reproduction or commercial reuse may require permission. To raise a rights concern, email community.relations@office.ajbass.com with the relevant URL, a description of the work and your interest in it, and contact details. Sending a concern does not guarantee a particular outcome.
Third-party services and links
Links, embeds, newsletters, subscriptions, and payment services may be operated by third parties, including Substack and Supascribe. Their terms and privacy policies govern their services. A link or quotation does not necessarily endorse the source, and we do not control third-party availability or content.
Contact submissions
Submit only information you are entitled to share. Do not send confidential sources, sensitive documents, or private information about others through the general contact form. It is not a secure tip line, an emergency service, or a promise of confidentiality. Sending a message does not guarantee a response, publication, or a professional relationship, and does not by itself grant us permission to publish your private correspondence.
SMS communication terms
SMS replies are optional and limited to your contact request, not marketing. By checking the consent box and submitting a phone number you are authorized to use, you agree to receive those replies from The Office of AJ Bass. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance, or email community.relations@office.ajbass.com. Consent is not a condition of submitting the contact form. Delivery may be delayed or unavailable; carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not use SMS for emergencies. Availability and limits
The website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every item is complete, current, or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, AJ Bass is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits rights you have under applicable law.
